Description

The Disassemble Quilts command quickly splits a selection of quilts back into its constituent quilts (i.e. one quilt per trimmed surface). This can be useful if you need to undo quilt assembly and the assembly action does not appear in the Undo list. Note that Disassemble Quilts is a toolbar-only command and does not appear in the Edit menu.

Tip: Sometimes you realize after the fact that you accidentally assembled over a feature edge that you needed to preserve. When this happens, use Disassemble Quilts to disassemble the needed quilts. Then use either Assemble, Quilts or Assisted Quilt Assembly to reassemble the quilts correctly. You can even disassemble all of the quilts at once, if you need to completely restart your quilting.

Note: Disassemble Quilts is a toolbar-only command.
