We are seeking computational fluid dynamics (CFD) enthusiasts who want to share their Pointwise or Gridgen meshing successes with the CFD community. Join us this 8-9 November at the 2011 Pointwise User Group Meeting in Fort Worth, TX, for two days dedicated to grid generation: training classes, user presentations, future Pointwise plans, one-on-one support sessions and networking opportunities.
Past papers have included unique applications of Gridgen and Pointwise, advanced scripting usage to automate Gridgen and Pointwise and meshing research papers on a wide variety of topics, ranging from aerospace to wind energy. Presenting is a great opportunity for us to learn from you, and for you to learn from others.
Presentations about how you utilize Pointwise or Gridgen should be 20 minutes long. We will also allow for some question and answer time afterward. Training seminar and general session fees will be waived for all presenters. To make it easier for you to participate, we do not require a formal written paper. A copy of your presentation materials is all we ask.
If you are interested in presenting, please submit a brief (500 words or less) abstract describing CFD or similar computational work for which Gridgen or Pointwise was used for meshing by 31 July 2011. Abstracts may be submitted in plain text, Microsoft Word, or PDF formats and should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
