A 3D motion controller from Leap Motion allows model view manipulations simply by moving your hand over the device. Rotations of the hand translate into rotations of the model in the Display window; translation of the hand will translate or pan the model; and pushing the hand away or pulling it back will translate into zooming of the model. The manipulations can be likened to having a camera mounted on the hand in front of your model, and the view of the model in the Display window follows motions of the hand accordingly. Control only occurs when fingers are extended. Make a fist to remove the hand from the controller space without moving your model.
