Thermal Desktop export supports all cell types that can be created in Fidelity Pointwise for 3D grids. Grids are exported in the NASTRAN file format in ASCII and Double precision.

Two physical types are supported for boundary and volume conditions: Isotropic Heat Transfer and Anisotropic Heat Transfer. These conditions will be exported as MAT4 and MAT5 respectively.

Additionally, the ShellOrientation, ShellThickness, and WideFormat solver attributes can be defined for exported files in CAE, Set Solver Attributes, Thermal Desktop.
