Come On Down to Texas for the Pointwise User Group Meeting

Does one of your hobbies involve creating meshes for computational fluid dynamics (CFD)? Do you spend the evenings daydreaming about preprocessing? Are you excited about a mesh and want to show it off? Do you like to eat barbeque? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the Pointwise User Group Meeting is the place for you.

Register today to be part of the grid generation fun at the Pointwise User Group Meeting in Fort Worth, TX, on 19-20 March 2013.

You will develop your mesh generation skills with a full day of hands-on training in the latest version of Pointwise. You will also gain a wealth of knowledge from listening to presentations about unique applications of Pointwise and Gridgen by CFD experts from various industries around the world and hear about future plans for Pointwise. Last year's papers included a billion cell mesh case study, an advanced scripting project, coupling CFD and infrared technology, plus many more.

CFD exhibiting partners will be at the Pointwise User Group Meeting demonstrating how their software products complement Pointwise and how these products can help you.

The Pointwise UGM is your opportunity to show off your CFD work. Make a presentation and we will waive your registration fees. Just submit a brief abstract (500 words or less) describing CFD or similar computational work for which Pointwise or Gridgen was used for meshing. If you are chosen to present, your user group meeting fees will be waived. We do not require a written technical paper. For more information, please check out our Call for Papers.

If making a presentation is not your style, but you still want to show off your work, then compete for the Meshy Award. We appreciate good grids and we want to see yours.

March is a great time of the year to visit North Central Texas. We are usually past the icy weather and the temperatures are pleasant. Also, the bluebonnets are starting to bloom.

So, head on down to Fort Worth and join us at the Pointwise User Group Meeting on 19-20 March 2013. We would love to see you.
