What Workstations Are You Using for Pointwise and Gridgen?

[August 2008] The types of workstations used for CFD preprocessing and postprocessing have changed greatly over the past decades. New platforms become available and older platforms fade away. Our software maintenance and new development is being negatively impacted by the need to support legacy platforms. Therefore, we're reaching a decision point on whether or not to continue support for older platforms, especially those that have already been end-of-lifed by the vendor.

The Results

It's not too surprising that Windows and Linux are the top platforms. And Mac has made a strong showing considering it's the newest platform we support.
