bugs from this page. Please note that you may find two types of
downloads below:
- Scripted bug solutions for Gridgen bugs in the
current version.
- Scripted bug solutions for Gridgen bugs in older
maintenance releases.
Solutions for the current version of Gridgen are here for your use
until our next maintenance release is available. Solutions for older
maintenance releases are provided for use if you cannot immediately
upgrade to our current version of Gridgen. However, we do encourage
you to upgrade to the current version as soon as possible.

- Symptoms:
- Pole domains created in Gridgen cannot be
initialized properly; Negative jacobians and skew cells present in
blocks containing pole domains;
- Instructions:
- FixPoleDomain.glf
- Download the script FixPoleDomain.glf by
selecting the above link and save it to your hard drive in text
format. With your grid and database present in Gridgen, run
FixPoleDomain.glf from the Glyph Commands menu. You will
be placed in a pick mode where you should select the pole domains with
which you are having difficulties. Once you have selected your pole
domain, the script will run and correct the problem.
- Cautions:
- Corrected pole domains will have their database
constraints erased if any were present. These pole domains will need
to be reprojected to the appropriate database entities.
