Native CAD Readers are able to read CAD data direclty into Gridgen from its native format without using a CAD system license. If you'd like to eliminate neutral files from your analysis process or if you'd like to avoid a potential source of translation error, try adding a Native CAD Reader to your Gridgen.

The Native CAD Readers supplement Gridgen's built-in capability to import geometry via IGES, wireframes, and faceted formats (e.g. STL, VRML).
