FORT WORTH, TX (9 August 2006) – Pointwise recently partnered with the Israeli Computational Fluid Dynamics Center (ISCFDC) to market, sell and support Gridgen, Pointwise's computational fluid dynamics (CFD) meshing software, in Israel.
ISCFDC was formed in 2005 and provides computational fluid dynamics (CFD) services to the Israeli aeronautical industry. Among current customers of ISCFDC are the Israeli Air Force, MLM (a division of Israel Aircraft Industries), the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
Additionally, ISCFDC develops EZNSS, a specialized flow solver for numerical simulations around changing geometries including store separation, aeroelastic applications, and others. ISCFDC also offers workshops on CFD and visualization and provides numerical simulations consulting services.
