NCR Host ID

What is it?: The Host ID is a short alphanumeric string that identifies your license server to Gridgen's license manager for the Native CAD Readers. It is used when generating your license file.

How do I get it?:
If your license server runs the Microsoft Windows operating system:

• Start Gridgen's Native CAD Reader license manager utility, NCR Tools: Start, Programs, Pointwise, GridgenV15, NCR Tools.
• Your server's NCR Host ID is the string in the field labeled NCR Host ID.

If your license server runs on a Unix/Linux operating system:

• Go to the directory where Gridgen was installed. This is commonly referred to as your gridgen_home_path.
• Type in the following to run the license control utility script:
  sh ./LICENSE_CONTROL.sh
• Your server's NCR Host ID is the string in the field labeled Native CAD Reader license host ID
