Gridgen Tricks and Tips

Many users are not aware that Gridgen can export an image file of the
Display window that can be useful for various kinds of documentation.
Available image file formats are Windows Bitmap (.bmp) (Windows systems
only), Portable Network Graphics (.png), Postscript (.ps), and Silicon
Graphics RGB (.rgb) (IRIX systems only).  Options are also provided for
coloring such as black on white, grayscale on white, and color on white.
These commands are found near the bottom of the DISPLAY COMMANDS menu
next to the menu label “Photo”.  There is a command button for each
format type.
