This is an improved version of an earlier script. When run after after importing a structured grid from a PLOT3D file it will recover all the non-full-face interblock connections.

Unlike the earlier version, if the user sets boundary conditions on the grid before running the script, only domains that have to be split to establish the correct block connectivity will be split (unlike the earlier version that splits all domains exhaustively).
