Description
The Add Comment to Journal command allows you to enter a text string to be written to the journaled file in the form of a Tcl
comment. Select Script, Add Comment to Journal. The menu (shown below) will provide a field where you may enter your comment. Click OK to
submit the comment and proceed with journaling.
Tip: When learning how to use the Fidelity Pointwise scripting language, the Add Comment to Journal is a useful command since it allows
you to place comments about the steps you are taking into the file you are journaling to. These comments can often make reading through the working parts
of a script much easier.
The Add Comment panel allows to enter the desired text string to be added to the journal file as a Tcl comment.
