The Wavefront OBJ file type refers to the OBJ file format developed by Wavefront Technologies. This format is supported for surfaces containing triangles, quads, and N-sided poly cells beyond four edges. Since Fidelity Pointwise currently only supports unstructured domains with triangles and quads, any cells imported with greater than four edges will be decomposed into triangles automatically.
