Exhaust Gas Throttle

[June 2004] - Bassem Ramadan, an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Kettering University, is performing computational simulations of exhaust gas recirculation, a unique method for improving the fuel economy and reducing the pollution of diesel engines. A grid used in the study, generated using Gridgen, is shown below.

Prof. Ramadan's work was the subject of an article in the June 2004 issue of Mechanical Engineering magazine.
