Human Carotid Artery BifurcationShawn Strande of the San Diego Supercomputer Center used Gridgen to generate a grid for a human carotid artery that was defined by magnetic resonance and angiography data. Mr. Strande is working with Dr. Larry Frank of the Magnetic Resonance Center at University of California San Diego Medical School to perform CFD analyses of blood flow. Mr. Strande's work was first described in "Numerical grid generation software," Gather/Scatter, Vol. 9, No. 1, San Diego Supercomputer Center, pg. 5.
