Zooming in PointwiseZooming techniques in Pointwise can greatly increase your efficiency while creating grids. Apply these steps to learn how to use the many different zooming options available in Pointwise for your own geometry. Middle Mouse Button
This will cause you to zoom in to the center of the display window no matter where you clicked. This will cause you to zoom out of the center of the display window no matter where you clicked. Mouse Wheel
This will cause you to zoom in to where the mouse is pointing. This will cause you to zoom out of where the mouse is pointing. Shift + Middle Mouse Button
Notice the plus sign below the magnifying glass icon, which means we are zooming in. The display window is filled with what was inside the zoom selection box. Notice the minus sign below the magnifying glass icon, which means we are zooming out. The display window is filled with a bigger picture than what was inside the zoom selection box. Zoom Menu
The previous view before zoom was used is recalled. Zoom is used to fill the display window with the geometry. First select an entity, and then zoom to selection zooms to the selected entity. All of these zoom options can be added to the View toolbar by customizing your toolbar.
