Creating a Connector Across Multiple Database Surfaces

Download this video

When working with database geometry, you often need to create connectors across multiple database surfaces. So begin with two or more adjacent database surfaces across which you wish to create a single connector.

An example database is shown with two database surfaces.

Example of two adjacent database surfaces
  1. Create, Draw Curves, Line on Database
  2. Click on Entity Type, Connector.
  3. Move the cursor over Database Surface 1 until it highlights.
  4. Click on point A.
  5. Click on point B.
  6. In the Segments frame, click on Add.
  7. Move the cursor over Database Surface 2 until it highlights.
  8. Click on point C.

  9. If the connector you wish to create spans across more than two database surfaces, use steps 6-8 to continue adding segments on adjacent database surfaces until the connector is complete.

  10. Apply (Connector 1 is saved.)
  11. OK
